He is the author of 8 best-selling branding books and also writes www.brandgymblog.com, one of the world’s top 60 branding blogs. He is the Director of Brandgym Academy, our global centre for research development and learning.
He loves blending business and brand strategy, with particular expertise in Brand Purpose & Positioning, Turbo Marketing and Brand Architecture.
David delivers the brandgym Mastering Brand Growth program, our 8 week online training program which covers the key stages of brand-led growth. He is also a highly rated speaker on branding and has taught at London Business School on the MBA program and executive training courses.
Prior to founding the brandgym in 2002, David worked in brand management for P&G before doing an MBA at INSEAD and then running the Paris office of marketing consultancy Added Value.

David Nichols has 23 years experience in branding, joining the brandgym in 2005. He is passionate about creativity and innovation, being the author of ‘Return on Ideas’ and leading strategic innovation projects for clients including Johnson & Johnson, Castrol and Unilever. He has also written and produced 3 off-West End musicals and is a UK top 10 aerobatics pilot.
David leads our ‘Dreamworks’ network of best-in-class partner agencies, covering everything from semiotics & social listening to illustrators and creatives, hand-picking the right expert resource to supercharge your project.
Prior to the brandgym, David worked at OC&C Strategy Consultants and then marketing consultancy Added Value, where he was Managing Director of Australia and then UK MD.

Jon joined the brandgym in 2016, bringing 25 years of marketing experience from Kraft, Coca-Cola, Pepsico, Premier Foods and Unilever, where he was UK & Ireland Marketing VP then Global Marketing VP for the €3bn Spreads business.
Jon leads global projects for clients including Smucker’s and Philips, and leads our Brand Revitalisation practice.
Jon’s work has been awarded Marketing Week’s Brand of the Year, the IPA Effectiveness Grand Prix and the Grocer New Brand of the Year. Named a Fellow of the Marketing Society, he mentors at the Marketing Academy, has business qualifications from IMD and Cranfield and teaches Brand Management at Cass Business School.

Prasad is a change-maker with 26 years of experience in branding. He joined the brandgym in 2010 after having worked for 20 years on the client side, where he was recognized as one of India’s top CMOs. Since then, he has led over 100 projects for clients across Asia, including BAT, Mondelez, Viacom18, Unilever, Dabur and Tata.
Prasad has been described by a client as a “rare individual who can be very creative and very business driven at the same time”. He infuses his work with deep insight and is constantly inventing new tools and stimuli to supercharge his workshops. He has special expertise in Business Strategy and War Gaming, having directed global brand projects in over 20 countries.
Prior to the brandgym, Prasad held senior marketing roles at ITC, Unilever, TVS Motor Company and Virgin Mobile. His work was recognized with many top awards at different events including Cannes, EFFIEs, Spikes Asia, Goa Fest and Yahoo Big Chair.

Passionate about brand transformation, Charlie brings strong strategic reframing skills with executional rigor and hands-on experience of what is needed to land transformational plans within a business. With a thirst for adventure and stepping into new spaces, Charlie recently relocated to New York after several years living and working in the UK, Singapore and Amsterdam.
