The Academy’s purpose is to boost brand growth know-how with the world’s most practical brand strategy training and tools. Director David Taylor has been named one of the world’s 50 leading marketing thinkers (CIM). He has led 200+ brand strategy projects since founding the brandgym in 2002. He is the author of eight acclaimed branding books, writes the brandgym blog and leads our 8 week online Mastering Brand Growth program.
TRAINING
Our practical marketing training programs combine principles, inspiring case studies and toolkits. Our 8 week online Mastering Brand Growth Program has an NPS score of +80 with 98% of participants agreeing it ”boosted their brand growth know-how” and will “help them be more effective in their job”. We also customise this program for clients wanting their own, private, personalised program. We also offer short courses on Growing the Core, Turbo Marketing, Brand Purpose and Brand Stretch.

Brandgym Academy carries out bespoke research projects on brand growth issues, such as brand purpose, growing the core and brand stretch. This is complemented with ongoing scanning of external research and best practice. We also capture and codify real-life learning from the 100s of brand growth projects we run. Our research has also been published in our eight acclaimed branding books and the brandgym blog.

DEVELOPMENT
We use our research insights to develop principles, methodologies and tools focused on three key areas of expertise: brand purpose & positioning, growing the core and brand-led innovation.
