‘JUST FOR CATS’: NEW BRAND-LED INNOVATION PIPELINE FOR ROYAL CANIN
Royal Canin wanted to develop an innovation pipeline that would bring to life their new ‘cat vision’ and dramatise the brand’s deep understanding of cats’ needs. ‘Insight fuel’ included expert input from famous cat behaviouralists and vets, plus ‘consumer speed-dating’. We then coached the team to create 10 powerful, inspiring and business-focused innovation pitches to senior management, speeding up the approval process.
Several of the innovation concepts – products as well as broader marketing ideas – are currently being implemented, such as a ‘Kitten Kit’ for new cat owners and a ‘pop-up cat experience’ in France.
