I enjoyed my 17 years in strategic planning at BBH, Wieden & Kenedy and TBWA, being privileged to work with high profile clients such as Nike, Microsoft, Absolut, Unilever and Heineken, Henkel.

However, I wanted to do more than just advertising, and get closer to the heart of my client's business issues. As Planning Director of TBWA Paris I was able to do some of this work, such as running a series of brand vision workshops for French train company SNCF (on a moving train!). But I wanted this work to be a more central part of my job. I also wanted the flexibility and ownership of running my own business, but was concerned about being completely alone.

When I met David and David, I immediately knew that the brandgym was the ‘what next?’ I had been looking for. First I get the independence I craved: I can organise my work life how I want, great when you have 2 kids and many other interests! Secondly, I get inspiration and expertise ‘on demand’ through the brandgym network. Thirdly, on top of managing core brandgym projects, I now have the mental space and the time to develop 2 of my pet brand topics: Brand Social Leadership (integrating CSR into brand strategy) & communication coaching.
